Welcome to Tucson Women’s Center. We provide prenatal care and related services at Southern Arizona’s only full service women’s healthcare facility. Our mission is to provide you with the services you need when you need them most. If you think that you are pregnant, it is important to find care quickly regardless of your insurance status. Our free prenatal ultrasound program allows you to determine your due date and to establish prenatal care with our doctors. For uninsured patients, Tucson Women’s Center offers the Baby Arizona insurance program. Baby Arizona is part of Arizona’s AHCCCS system which provides assistance to Arizonans in need of medical services. We will help you to apply for the program and establish care for you with one of our doctors.
In addition to prenatal care, TWC offers a variety of other services including:

PLEASE NOTE: On September 30, 2009, the omnibus abortion bill became law. This law requires that patients seeking abortion be informed of state mandated consent material at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled abortion. These materials must be read to the patient by the physician doing the abortion. What this law means is that PATIENTS MUST NOW MAKE TWO VISITS TO THE OFFICE. At the first visit, the physician will read the state mandated materials to you, click the link to see a copy of the state mandated materials for medical abortion or to see the state mandated materials for surgical abortion. For your convenience, we will also use this time to explain your procedure to you and to answer any questions that you may have. At the second visit, the actual procedure will take place. Please remember that the law requires that your second visit be scheduled AT LEAST 24 HOURS AFTER THE TIME THAT YOU HEAR THE STATE MANDATED MATERIALS. For example, if you sign the form acknowledging that you have heard these materials at 9:00 am on your first visit, your second visit must be scheduled any time after 9:00 am the following day.
Minors seeking abortion must now bring at least 1 parent to the office so that the parental consent form can be signed and notarized. Abortions can also be performed on minors who have court ordered permission. You can find out more about Arizona law as it relates to minors seeking abortion by going to the Arizona Supreme Court website.
Medical Weight Loss
Tucson Women’s Center offers weight loss programs to fit the individual goals of our patients. Our standard weight loss program emphasizes portion control using appetite suppression, followed by lifestyle changes relating to diet and exercise. You can find out more about our programs by clicking on the “Medical Weight Loss” icon on the left side of this page. We look forward to helping you make a positive change in your life and health.
Effective immediately, we are suspending our Releana® Weight Loss program. Our staff and patients that have participated in this program have reported weight loss that is much less than is promised by the manufacturer (6-8 lbs/month rather than 20lbs). Also, our patients have been uniformly hungry on this regimen which requires strict adherence to a 600 calorie no carbohydrate diet. All of our patients and staff required supplementation with appetite suppressants. Our findings are also supported by other clinical studies which show no weight loss benefits. Given the expense of this drug, coupled with the consistently disappointing results, we will no longer offer any HCG weight loss regimens.
